Overview

The Walk is a next-generation mixed-use development designed to bring energy, housing, and walkable retail to the heart of Norwalk, California.

Strategically positioned at Imperial Highway and Norwalk Boulevard — one of the city’s most visible intersections — the project captures more than 52,000 vehicles per day and benefits from immediate access to I-5 and on-site transit connectivity to Downtown Los Angeles, Anaheim, and LAX .

The Walk introduces a vibrant, pedestrian-oriented district that blends contemporary residential living with curated retail and open-air gathering spaces. Designed as both a neighborhood anchor and regional draw, the project elevates Norwalk’s evolving identity while meeting the area’s growing housing and lifestyle demand.

The vision will ultimately deliver 374 thoughtfully designed residential units — including 56 affordable homes — above and alongside approximately 91,000 square feet of retail, dining, and experiential space .

Five-story residential buildings frame landscaped courtyards and activated streetscapes, while modern retail storefronts open onto walkable pathways and community gathering areas. The result is an integrated environment where residents can live, shop, and connect — all within steps of regional transit.

The project’s design emphasizes:

• Contemporary architecture and warm material palettes

• Activated ground-floor retail

• Community-forward outdoor spaces

• Transit connectivity that reduces reliance on cars

The Walk project was designed through a collaboration between Stack Modular, West Modular, Assemblage Works, and Primestor.
